Bread Bike is a small bakery located on the central coast of California. They specialize is locally grown, fresh milled grains, naturally leavened bread, and local ingredients. They have a huge passion for community, and, yes, bike fresh bread to their members every week.
I created branding for them that showcases their values of fun, playfulness, authenticity, and community. I worked on several projects, including designing a logo and brand standards, merch, packaging for bread and house-milled flour, signage around the bakery, illustrations for use in marketing, and a wrap for their bread trailer/moving billboard.
Bread Bike makes several kinds of bread and mills different varieties of flour from local farmers. The packaging I designed for them takes this, and their small-business budget, into account, and we were able to print one bag design for each product that can be customized for whatever variety ends up inside it.
Bread is biked to customers around town each week in this custom bike trailer. Yes, they will give you a fresh sample loaf if you ask!
